K-Way is one of South Africa's leading outdoor brands, specialising in the design and construction of technical apparel and gear for trail running, hiking, travel, camping, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits.
K-Way gear is locally designed, but for global adventure. Much of our apparel is also produced locally, in the K-Way factory in Ottery, Cape Town.
In recent years K-Way has placed an increased emphasis on "gear testing" - using apparel and gear in the conditions under which these items are expected to perform. Consequently, K-Way gear has travelled to some of the world's least hospitable environments in the company of some tough folk - including Sibusiso Vilane (Everest summiter), John Black (Everest summiter), Ronnie Muhl, Kingsley Holgate and the team at the Cape Leopard Trust, who spend their weekends tramping the Cederberg.
